Over £200 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support
On Friday 27 September students invited their parents in for our World Biggest Coffee Morning, in conjunction with Stephenson College, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thanks to the generosity of staff and students who donated cakes, over £200 was raised for this worthy cause. Macmillan Cancer Support provides physical, financial and emotional support to help people living with cancer live life as fully as they can.
Students were able to purchase cakes during their break and with so many cakes donated, the coffee morning extended into the afternoon with staff and students enjoying a treat after lunch and with their afternoon coffee!
We are so pleased to have raised such a good amount for Macmillan Cancer Support, every pound counts and will make such a difference to people living with cancer. We would like to thank everyone who made it such a success.
